I have branded my mug range "Swift & Witty" because whilst I design the decals, apply and kiln fire the mugs I buy in the Bone China blanks. (The name is inspired by my two great grandmothers Laura Witty and Ada Swift.)
Bone China Mugs Drystone Wall designs © J Hayton

I made drawings of several drystone walls in the North York Moors, noting how the construction changes according to the local stone.  I have three designs, at present, Levisham & Lockton, Hutton Le Hole, and Appleton le Moors.

professional drystone waller bought the 'Appleton Le Moors' design during the North Yorkshire Open Studios and laughingly declared it "a disgrace"  - the design is from the  dilapidated village sheepfold !
